I think a lot of people forget that it IS possible to come back from a serious injury, and get mentally bogged down in worrying that they'll never return to fitness. It just takes a lot of patience. Keeping yourself distracted is key, I found myself moping around at home too much after I hurt my back, so took up some (gentle) swimming, and brushed up on my french! Good luck with the coming year.

Emmett Fletcher @ CK PhysioCK Physiotherapyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18411358412063745138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012543111592635528.post-23761155454116144562016-04-25T22:23:21.107-06:002016-04-25T22:23:21.107-06:00Great that you're on the mend Jessica. You're definitely right to keep training as much as you can while you're off, even if it's not running that you're doing, keeping your fitness level as high as possible really helps get back quickly. Good luck with the race!

Alberto Lawrence @ Institute Of Sport
Alberto Lawrencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18065748318287564892noreply@blogger.com
